ISTE Standard 2: Digital Citizen
Students recognize the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world, and they act and model in ways that are safe, legal and ethical.
Digital Citizenship is reinforced on an ongoing basis in all SB PreK-5 classrooms throughout the year. Students review their responsibilities of living in an interconnected digital world, discuss ways to be a good citizen, as well as how to develop healthy and positive habits in the cyberworld.

Very engaging typing app where students can learn touch typing online via games, typing tests and videos.
- The district has purchased a premium license for Grade 2 classrooms. Tap here for directions on how to manage your Gr2 class dashboard.
- Other grade level educators can set up their own class and track student progress. Get started by creating an account here. With the free version, student progress resets after 30 days. Consider applying for a District Digital Tool Tech Grant for the premium version.
