Digital Citizenship Day Materials & Resources
In September, K-5 students review the promises of our District Acceptable Use Policy. Classrooms take time to discuss their responsibilities of living in an interconnected digital world. DCD is an opportunity to facilitate discussions of the ways to be a good citizen, and how to develop healthy and positive habits in the cyberworld in accordance with New Jersey’s 9.4 Life Literacies standards. After all, good digital citizenship is something to be celebrated. Note, lessons are designed to be 40 - 50 min., depending on the grade level. Here are additional strategies for differentiation, accommodations, and modifications.
Updated Lessons for 2023-2024 School Year Lessons from Previous Years are linked below to serve as resources or additional practice.
