Digital Citizenship Materials & Resources
All K-5 students review the promises within our District Acceptable Use Policy in September, on Digital Citizenship Day, and are continually reinforced throughout the year. Classrooms take time to discuss their responsibilities of living in an interconnected digital world.
Lesson plans, resources and materials have been created and linked below for classroom teachers to familiarize their students with the promises associated with our AUP. Lessons are designed to be 30 - 45 min., depending on the grade level.
Tweet using #sbdcd18 to share your class celebrating digital citizenship.
NOTE to teachers: As long as students have a signed AUP, they can begin using iPads & Chromebooks with students prior to celebrating Digital Citizenship Day.
