Resources & Ideas for Chromebook Classrooms
All grades 2-5 classrooms integrate Chromebooks into curriculum and instruction.

Student Google Accounts - are managed by the district. District approved apps are preloaded on their accounts. Teachers and students do not have permissions to add new apps to student accounts. Click here to view the current list of apps students currently have access to within their accounts. If there is an app or extension that you would like your students to have, enter a school dude ticket.
Chrome Web Store - has a few apps that students have permission to add to their own accounts. Teachers cannot add these apps for them. Students need to log into their own account, go to the Chrome Web Store, click the tab 'For sbstudents.org.' They have permission to add any app that appears in this space to their own account. Once added, it will be a part of their account until they remove it. Click here to view the current list of apps & extensions in the Chrome Web Store. Learn more.
NOTE:
The apps in the Chrome Web Store are primarily, but not necessarily, assistive technologies that help to support struggling learners, such as Mercury Reader, Announcify, ClaroSpeak and more. Click here for a quick tutorial on the Assistive Tech apps. If there is an app/extension that you want to add to the Chrome Web Store for your students, please enter a school dude ticket.
